If you read the title you are probably wondering what’s happening. Well, I’m here to tell you.
Do you remember back in 2009 when we started this journey? It’s ok if you forgot, it’s been a long time! Yes, we started this journey of discernment for missions in 2009. Since then we have experienced so much and grown in ways I never could have imagined. Here we are today.
October 2010 was the first time we connected with EFCCM in regards to our call to ministry in Bolivia. What were you doing in 2010? Are you still doing the same thing? Well, as long as you feel it deep with-in your heart that you are where God wants you and you are glorifying Him in all you do, then keep on keeping on!
In 2009 I was living in AB, managing a Thrift Shop. In 2010 I was living in SK, pregnant and working in HR at Briercrest College & Seminary. In 2011 I lived in AB as a stay at home mom while preparing our ministry.
In 2012 am going to live in Texas as a student and a mother. Yes, you read that right! It’s official!!!!! Our area director confirmed that we are able to leave for Texas this August. We were planning on it and believing in faith that it would happen, but they needed to confirm that our support team looked solid enough for us to be able to leave this August and it’s CONFIRMED!!! Are we excited you ask? Ah, if you haven’t noticed, YES WE ARE! We know there are going to be challenges but that’s all part of being a servant for the one who gave it all for us.
Are you still wondering what’s happening? Well, you shouldn’t be wondering anymore because I just told you!:) We are leaving for RGBI (Rio Grande Bible Institute) in 6 weeks! Eeekkk!
Eeekkk is right! This doesn’t mean that we are fully funded, it means that based on the support that has been coming in and the response we have been getting we believe that God will provide the rest of our funds (through people like you) before we head out in 6 weeks. We have about 50% more to go! Our God is good and all things are possible through HIM!
Do you want to know what else is happening? I’m going to bed now. (Sorry, that sounds almost as exciting as language school at this point):)
I love you & God loves you more!
Until next time,
